How do you value you Activity Points here? Does it have importance to you?
Many users here are having fun in earning activity points like playing guess the number is the fastest way, jumbled words, posting replies, chatting and doing blogs.

For me activity points is nothing but a personal stuffs and it shows how active I am in this site.
It makes me think and this question bugging me. "What if our activity points here are our real money? What do you think can you buy with that amount?" How funny my questi0ns are, but if I will answer, it will be, I can start my own business like a small time retail store.

To discipline
Every parents or even grandparents have their own way disciplining their child. Nowadays technology, there are many articles to be read, most common is in the internet. But still, many do not rely on that since raising a child differs to the environment, country and status in life.
Beating a child is a common thing. I'm a mother and i do too whip my child since my mother told me so. Whenever my daughter got mistake she will say beat her to let her know that she did bad.(started when my daughter was almost two yrs old) .Today i blamed myself a lot for listening to her ,because when every time i feel tension or in any bad mood and she got mistake, a plastic hanger was there to be used to her. And i hated it when i realized that the big kids were glad when i do that. Then one day a friend opened up saying he was also raised by betting by his father and now that he is adult he has this emotional gap with his father. Flashback came up to my head and i saw how i was punished by my grandmother every time i got mistake even how small it was. She used anything she can hold. If she can only use the bolo to hit me, she will use it. Then, i realized how hatred was built in my heart. Though for many years i live far away from her. I still heard news about her before. When she was about to die my older half sister called up, grandma was looking for me,she said that" amy they told me that i am about to die. Then i said oh ok. What can i say,she built mountains of hatred in me!
When she died a week after that. I don't recall if i ever cried for her.
Now, i realized the psychological effect of it. I am trying my best to raise my child without hitting her the way i experienced. I and my younger siblings were brought to grandparents when my parents separated.
I am glad that a friend here had opened up his experience to wake me up from reality of the past to the present.
I do hope that many parents or grandparents will raise their children without the unwanted discipline.
